Sailing Croatia - Dubrovnik to Split

Whether you're looking for relaxed afternoons lazing on the deck of a yacht or time to indulge in the nightlife, this Croatian cruise aims to please you. Embark in lovely Dubrovnik and discover charming villages as you sail from island to stunning island on a small yacht. The emphasis is on connecting with the country and culture and you'll fall in love with this region's beauty on hikes in the stunning landscape. Toss in beach days and snorkeling and you have an incredible and affordable island getaway.

Itinerary

Day 1 Dubrovnik/Adriatic Sea

Arrival day. Join the group at 4pm for a welcome meeting and safety briefing before beginning the sailing journey to Split. Enjoy a nightcap with crew mates on the boat and get to know fellow passengers.

Days 2-6 Adriatic Sea

Our 15m (50 ft) nimble yacht is the perfect platform to explore the gorgeous Adriatic islands. Flexibility is key to adapt to local weather conditions, and the skipper will modify the itinerary to our advantage while sailing. Possible stops include: Brač, Mljet, Korčula, and Hvar.

Mljet Island Excursion activity

Mljet

Stay active on Mljet, well known for being a perfect place for hiking, biking, and swimming. Soak in the island's stunning scenery and peaceful atmosphere. This lushly forested island is so seductive, it's said that Odysseus came and stayed for seven years. Take a guided tour of the Mljet National Park, or bask in the green waters by the rocks.

Brač Island Excursion activity

Otok Brač

Head to Brač Island to explore its coastline and beaches, and play in crystal clear waters. Have a barbeque lunch on a deserted beach, visit local vineyards, or go for a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean Sea. Be sure to visit the island's well-known Zlanti Rat beach, where the tides, currents, and wind are constantly shifting the shape of the beach.

Korčula Island Excursion activity

Ride across the water to Marco Polo’s place of birth, Korčula, a typical medieval walled Dalmatian city and one of the Adriatic’s most lush green islands. Indulge yourself on this historic island and forget about the world around you. Discover the caves and secluded beaches that make this an attractive destination for exploration.

Hvar Island Excursion activity

Hvar

Head out to explore Hvar, a definite must-see and UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy some amazing beaches, nightlife, pop and classical music concerts, and festivals in the city that have inspired many Croatian writers and artists. This island truly has it all!

Hvar Fortress Visit

Hvar

Explore the 16th century fortress that looks over the city of Hvar. Tour the interior and see some of the artifacts on display like the canon. Climb hundreds of stairs to reach the top for an incredible panoramic view of the city, nearby islands, and the ocean.

Hvar Island - Starigrad to Hvar Tour

Hvar

Tour the lush interior of Hvar island, starting at the ancient settlement of Starigrad. Explore this settlement, founded by the Greeks in 4th century BC, before making your way back to Hvar. Keep an eye out along the road back for examples of unique local architecture in the many villages that dot the country side.

Vis Island Military Tour

Vis

The Island of Vis has been an important stronghold for countless generals for millennia. Though peace now reigns on the island, there still exists a multitude of landmarks left over, such as gun emplacements and a large network of secret tunnels dug by the Yugoslav army.

This tour will take you across the island with guided stops at all the must-see attractions.

Trstenik Wine tour

Make land in the lush seaside village of Trstenik, home to some of Croatia's most renowned wineries. It's hard to find a bad bottle of wine from the many outfits that call this village home, so take a taste tour and make note of your favorites, as you'll be sure to find many of these when returning home.

Mljet Island National Park

Visit the natural wonder that is Mljet National Park. Covering the entire north west portion of Mljet island, there is a multitude of hiking trails and mountains to explore.

For those looking to expand their adventures, bikes can be rented for 70 HRK for 4 hours, double kayaks for 60 HRK or a single canoe for 40 HRK.

Mljet Island Cave of Odysseus

Visit one of the most iconic caves on the entire Adriatic Sea. Enter from either the land or a tunnel from the sea, and marvel at the bright spectrum of colors created by the sun refracting into the water from outside.

Explore the large vault of the cave, and take a swim in its refreshing waters before you leave.

Day 7 Adriatic Sea/Trogir

Weigh anchor early morning for the last passage to Trogir. Before crossing the Brač Channel, find a picturesque inlet to enjoy lunch before entering the marina in Trogir. Enjoy the last night aboard, or join the rest of the group for an optional group dinner in Split while reminiscing about the epic journey through the Adriatic Sea.

Free time activity

Evening

Explore the nightlight of one of the oldest cities in Croatia. Wonder the city streets and marvel at the Roman walls, squares, and temples. Discover the neighbourhood of Varoš, one of the oldest parts of town, which boasts charming houses.

Day 8 Trogir/Split

Disembark the ship in the morning after breakfast. Then, enjoy an included transfer from Trogir to the Hotel Corner in Split where the tour ends on arrival.

If you would like extra time in Split after the sailing journey is finished, we recommend booking extra time.

After disembarking the ship there will be an included group transfer from the marina in Trogir to the Hotel Corner in Split.
