The activities are served up by the dozen at this Holiday Village in Paphos. We’re talking football and tennis coaching, and an Aerial Adventure course. There’s a swim academy for little ones, as well as adults-only classes like cheese-making and wine-tasting. Four eateries, five bars, sports academies for kids and one of the biggest pools in Cyprus – the Holiday Village Aliathon has it all.

You’ll find the main pool in the zone known as the Fishing Village. It’s one of the largest pools in Cyprus, measuring in at 3,000 square metres. If this supersize isn't enough, there's a handful of other pools dotted around the hotel. Kids have their own all-action splash park with a pirate ship, pint-sized slides and lots of jets and fountains to play in. 

The adults-only spa comes with a sauna and steam room, as well as an indoor pool with a whirlpool bath. And as for treatments, expect the likes of massages, detox wraps and facials. Don’t ditch the workout just because you’re on holiday – there’s a gym in the spa centre, with a mix of weights and cardio machines.

This place has bagged a pretty good spot for exploring. It’s a quick walk from the closest beach, or you can jump on the local bus which pulls up right outside the hotel and whizz over to Paphos Harbour.
