Essential Iceland

Description

Iceland is renowned for its unique and breathtaking landscapes, making it an ideal destination for an unforgettable break. Just a short drive away, the Golden Circle offers a trio of natural wonders: the geothermal area of Geysir, the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, and the tectonic rift at Thingvellir National Park. For those seeking relaxation, the Blue Lagoon provides a rejuvenating experience with its mineral-rich geothermal waters.

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with an Iceland tour featuring a Northern Lights cruise, complete with convenient transfers. This immersive experience begins with a seamless pickup from your hotel, ensuring a stress-free start to your journey. As you board a comfortable vessel, you'll set sail into the pristine waters surrounding Iceland, away from the city lights that can obscure the celestial display. As night falls, the sky transforms into an awe-inspiring canvas of swirling greens, purples, and blues—the mesmerizing aurora borealis.

With so much to offer, an Icelandic getaway promises unforgettable experiences and stunning scenery at every turn. Whether you are exploring natural wonders, soaking in hot springs, or chasing the Northern Lights, Iceland provides a magical escape into nature's grandeur.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Northern Lights

Private transfer from KEF airport to your hotel in Reykjavik
In the evening enjoy a Northern Lights Cruise
Northern Lights are best displayed under dark, clear skies. It is therefore important
to leave the city lights of Reykjavik. Come again for free if you don’t see them.

Day 2: Golden Circle *Upgrade possible (and recommended)

The Golden Circle is Iceland’s most popular route and it is not by any coincidence.
The route lies not so far from the capital and easily offers a variety of natural scenery
to explore as well as many stories from the settlement to our times.
Visit Thingvellir National Park, a jewel with both historical and geological value.
Geysir geothermal area is quite stunning where we can witness the geyser Strokkur
erupt every five to ten minutes. Right after, we head towards the thundering Gullfoss
waterfall, which tops many lists as a powerful and hypnotizing natural phenomenon
Included today are stops at 2 local farms, one for lunch and another for homemade
ice cream (meal & ice cream not included, pay on spot).
To finish our day, we visit Kerið crater lake, with pristine waters, inside a 3.000 years old caldera. The colors
of Kerið are intense and beautiful!

Day 3: Sky Lagoon
Immerse yourself in warmth at our oceanside geothermal lagoon. The dramatic
North Atlantic Ocean stretches out before you. Above, glowing sunsets and stormy

skies dazzle, and sometimes the dancing Northern Lights put on a stunning all-
natural show. Sky Lagoon is about that Icelandic feeling of warmth and wonder.

Join us for rejuvenation and inspiration at the edge of the world.

Day 4: Departure
Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to Iceland. Private transfer from your hotel to KEF airport.
